The short version: your drawings and images stay in your browser.
Your drawings, images and code
What you draw on the grid, the images and cursor files you open, drop or paste, and the paths and settings you type are processed by your browser on this page. They are never sent to Cursor Cove or to anyone else. Downloading a PNG, .cur, CSS or JavaScript file saves it from your browser to your device, and copying puts text on your own clipboard. Apart from loading the site's own files, the pages make no network requests; the one exception is the page-view count described below.
The clipboard
Pressing Ctrl+V or ⌘+V on the cursor maker or the hotspot editor pastes an image you have copied. The copy buttons write the generated CSS or code to your clipboard when you press them. Nothing is read from the clipboard at any other time.
What is stored on your device
Two things, both in your browser's local storage on this device only: your light or dark theme choice, and the cursor maker's current drawing and hotspot, so your work is still there when you come back. The other tools keep nothing. Clearing this site's data in your browser settings removes both.
Cookies, accounts and ads
There are none. There is no sign-up, no advertising and no tracking across other sites.
Page-view counts
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which our host Cloudflare adds to each page, to count page views. It does not use cookies or track you across sites, and it never receives what you draw, type, paste or drop into the tools.
Links to other sites
Pages link to sister sites and to two recommended services, CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.
